| A graduate
in the physical sciences from the University
of Madrid, Fernando Labrada began his
career at Radio Television Española
(RTVE) where in 1974 he was appointed
Director of Production. He later served
as Director of the Documentation Centre
for seven years from 1981 to 1988. |

| He has been
manager of several film and video production
companies. During the Barcelona Olympic
Games he was General Manager of Radio
and Television at the Olympic Stadium. |

| From 1992 to
1996 he was General Manager of the Media
Business School, the initiative of the
Media I Programme of the European Union
for the development of training research
and publications in the audiovisual
industry. During this time he was engaged
in many related activities, one as Secretary
of the Think Tank sponsored by the Commission
for preparation of the Green Paper on
European audiovisual industries. |

is General Manager of Media Research
& Consultancy Spain (MRC). MRC is
a company specialised in providing consultancy
and research services for the audiovisual
market at a national and international
scale. Additionally, MRC has been entrusted
to be the Intermediary. |

to provide technical assistance for
the Commission of the European Union
in implementing the Media Programme-Training.
This task was assigned after Public
Call for Projects at international level. |

is the author of numerous articles and
books on different aspects of the audiovisual
industry, an active participant at conferences
and seminars and a senior consultant
of Arena Audiovisual. |
